Hi I'm Tanner

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Tanner. I enjoy doing just about anything, as long as people are involved. I can have fun with anything. If it's something I'm not a super big fan of, that doesn't mean I won't participate for fun. I really enjoy being outside in a calmer manner. I'm going to be attending BYU-Idaho in the Fall. I'm a bit of a computer nerd. I'm Majoring in Computer Science. Even being a computer nerd though, I really enjoy being outside with people.

Why I am a Mormon

I finally gained a testimony shortly after someone close to me almost passed away. During the time when it was unclear if they would live or not and I was scared for their life, I figured they can't just rot in the ground. It didn't make sense to me. It didn't seem fair or anything. I grew up in the church, learning about the premortal existence, as well as life after death. I just didn't know if any of that was true. So once this situation came around, I was scared. I finally decided to ask God, something I had been scared to do because of the fear of not getting any kind of response. I don't know if I got lucky and He let me know the first time I asked, or if He always does that. From then on out, I've always been able to rely on Him and it has helped me know for myself the knowledge of things in my scripture reading.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in my everyday life. I start my days with prayer, and well as close them with prayer. I try to read some sort of scripture at least once daily. I enjoy hometeaching. It's always nice to be able to teach friends a quick lesson, and just connect with them for a short time, once a month. I also like being able to tell people if they ever need anything to not be afraid to ask for help.
