Hi I'm Matthew Scott Walker

I'm a Twin, A Morganite at heart, I wear Sambas. A Nerd by most definitions, A Mormon by all.

About Me

I have to say there are few things I don't love! I love sports, I love food, I love learning, I love my family, I love this gospel, and I love the world! Some of my favorite things to do are play soccer, to Ski, to longboard and to wakeboard! I may not be the best at it all but It's a blast! I love people and getting to know them! I Love the earth and the way it all works! There are few things more interesting to me and I just love it all! The best thing in the world is my family though! They are my best friends and I love hanging out with them! It's the best!

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was 8 and have loved every second of being a member of this Church. My conversion has taken place over the whole span of my 20 year life. The strongest moments of my conversion has always come because of one thing, practicing what I believe. Taking principles that I've been taught and applying them to my life. The most important of those being building faith in Jesus Christ, repenting, making covenants or promises with God, seeking to feel the Spirit and working hard to keep this all a big part of my life. Knowing that Jesus Christ really is my Redeemer, Savior, and Friend is what makes it all worth it. Knowing that even when I mess up, he's there to catch me. It's the best. I know that following Christ is the best way to get to know Him. I know that He's there, He lives, and He loves me. that's why I'm Mormon.

How I live my faith

The way that I live my faith is by following the Gospel of Jesus Christ and by letting it show! I love getting involved through service in the Church or in the community. There is something about seeing the appreciation on others' faces and ALSO knowing that God is happy too. Sometimes it takes a lot, but there isn't any better use of "free time" than helping others!
