Hi I'm Megan

I love to play tennis. I love being outside. I love rocky road ice cream. I speak Vietnamese. I laugh a lot. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up with people all around me. I am the 3rd oldest of 7 kids and my house has always been a gathering place for family and friends. I love playing games and laughing, which we do a lot at my house. I've played tennis my whole life and was a tennis coach and camp counselor at a sports camp in Maine. I love traveling and have done humanitarian trips in South America. I was an exchange student in Germany, but don't speak German. I am studying Hotel Resort and Hospitality Management and have about 2 more years of schooling. I love to hike and bike and be outside. I'm a big fan of Mexican food and my grandmas mashed potatoes.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it just makes sense. I grew up in a very active, big Mormon family where we pray together and read scriptures together. I was active in the youth programs of the church which played a huge role in helping me develop my testimony. Everything about the gospel just makes sense, it brings so much peace, comfort and happiness. I am happiest in my life when I am doing the right thing and keeping the standards of the church, which is how it should be. My prayers have been answered countless times. I follow and will forever follow this gospel because I would be lost and directionless with out it.

How I live my faith

Right now I am in Cambodia teaching the Vietnamese people about the gospel of Jesus Christ. We go out everyday and take every opportunity to serve and to teach people. I love sharing and serving others. I read and study scriptures daily and pray daily. I visit others and share uplifting messages and find was to make them happy. I live my faith my keeping the Lords standards and trying to do the right thing. I attend meetings frequently and help build others faith.
