Hi I'm Peyton Kiel

I'm an Athlete, Thrill-Seeker, Music Enthusiast and a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated high school and right now am actively serving a mission right now in the Missouri Independence Mission. My plans for afterward are going to college, majoring in mechanical engineering, and having a family. My hobbies include football, track, snowboarding, listening to music and reading. Some accomplishments in life are 2 high school state football titles, the Eagle Scout award, and a member of Honor Society. My main goals in life are to build a Christ centered family and to also enjoy life to the best extent I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know this church is the one and only true church. I've gained a testimony the same way I would encourage anyone else to: by reading and praying about the Book of Mormon. I have found so much joy in knowing that God has a plan outlined for us and he wants to give us all opportunities to learn and grow.

How I live my faith

I do all I can to be a worthy example for those around me. I am serving a mission right now and hope to influence the people I come into contact with to help them increase their faith in Christ. I keep myself focused on what matters most and try to help others have joy. I love the Book of Mormon and will tell you all about it if you even bring up the name!

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

Peyton Kiel
While many people have misconceptions that Joseph Smith wrote the Book of Mormon, it was actually written by several other prophets of God around the same time as the Bible. It is another testament of Jesus Christ and starts off by following one of the prophet's family as they travel from Jerusalem to the Americas with guidance from God. Near the end of the Book of Mormon, Jesus Christ visits the people on the Americas and establishes the same church that he did with the people in the Bible. Show more Show less
