Hi I'm Patrick Routhier

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

A little bit. About me. Before I went on my mission I was working at a cafe called Trapper's in Taylor, Arizona. My parents had bought me a motorcycle. 600cc Shadow. I have graduated high school with an Associate Degree under my belt. Life was pretty good but I remeber how easily it got boring. Luckily, I put my papers in for my mission. I am assigned to the Argentina Mission. I am a few months into my mission and my life has a purpose. I love serving others and showing them that I do care and do want to them to have that difference I have had in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon? One of the greatest questions begins with the word 'why?' To be honest I know it is for me. It is an awesome actively experience I enjoy. Things are tough sometimes but I know through those things I become stronger and grow. I become the person the Saviour and our Heavenly Father. Both of my goodly parents are converts to this church. Have sheltered and fed me. Put me in school and given me an awesome life. The funny thing is I never really did fully learn though what conversion was. Sure my parents gave me almost everything I could ever want but something was missing. There was no purpose no experience or knowledge to back up what I was feeling. Long story short I knew that serving a mission would guide me and bring light to my darkened path. So far its been so great and life changing.

How I live my faith

I'm simply another guy serving his church. Only I have decided to dedicate two years of my life, dressing up in a suit and name tag. Everyday I experience a new chapter reading the scriptures and finding who I am in God's eyes and mine. Prayer helps too. Each day I know that as I read a passage I feel this peace of mind. Almost kind of a happy place.
