Hi I'm Ryan

I grew up in Kona, Hawaii. I am a missionary of the church currently in Mesa, but heading to Recife, Brazil. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love volleyball. Die hard USC (Southern California) fan, but when it comes to football Oklahoma Sooners all the way. I love sports in general and love anything physical or outdoors. I love to rock climb down in Southern Utah, and travel back home to Hawaii. I love to swim, mostly in the Ocean. I am normal young adult who loves Jazz music and Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers. I will be attending Southern Virginia University hopefully after my mission. I love History and learning about other peoples cultures.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because for me there is no other place in this world where I can feel of Gods love. I have been blessed with strong members in my family. I have so that aren't so close to the gospel but they still are my family. My family and I have been through a lot prior to my mission and its a blessing that I am here on it now. I love the gospel because it is so simple and it has something for everyone. I grew up as a member all my life, and at some points took it for granted. I am fortunate to have a loving Heavenly Father who was able to bring me back from a path that was leading me no where. I am not perfect and I am so grateful for the sacrifice that Jesus made on our be half. We will never be perfect, but through the gospel of Jesus Christ and his atonement, we can best that we can be.

How I live my faith

I am currently living my gospel, by being a full-time missionary for the church. I come to known that living the gospel is one way that our understanding of the gospel grows. I see many miracles out here in Phoenix and hope to be able to continue to forward the work here on this area, until the Lord see fit for me to head out to Recife. I was in the Elders quorum as a secretary in my old Samoan branch and was Primary teacher for a little while for the four and five aged kids at my Branch. I love teaching and being able to hold his name and forward the work in the areas I have been at.
