Hi I'm Samuel

I grew up in Twin Falls, Idaho, I'm going to serve a mission in Utica, New York. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am eighteen, and just graduated high school. I love to play tennis, and do anything that involves being outdoors. I am serving a mission in Utica, New York, and attending college at BYU Provo when I get home. I have four sisters and one younger brother. I am the oldest child in my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that this is the true church. I love serving others just as Christ did. I want to continue living his gospel so that I can share it and be an example of it for others, and so that I can live with him someday. I know that Christ lives and that he loves us, and I know that this gospel will bring others much happiness.

How I live my faith

I am serving a mission for two years, and I'm so excited to be making all the crazy decisions at this stage of life with the help of my Heavenly Father.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Just as the Church answers, I believe that the family provides an opportunity for learning and growing that is both necessary, and impossible to experience in any other setting. Families help each other "love, serve, and teach," and are essential to our Heavenly Father's plan. Reading "The Family: A Proclamation to the World" is a great way of learning not only why we value family, but also what we value about the family. Show more Show less
