Hi I'm Mary Bullock

I'm a Mormon.I was born in Utah , moved to Wyoming and was raised in Montana. Colorado is home now.

About Me

I love music and I have been a part of vocal groups all my life ,ward choir , school programs, community choirs and small trios. My family has been supportive and been involved in musical productions or programs as well. It has been fun to travel and see beautiful parts of the world , mostly with my husband and his work. Art is also a favorite hobby and traveling to Counties that are rich in history and heritage has been a wonder and has lite a desire to do more with painting. I'm an old student, taking one class at a time so as to still be a Grandma and Mom. It was a bite of a stretch to begin with ,returning to math after 30+ years , but it has been a fun challenge . I'm always the oldest in class but the other student have been kind. You develop an appetite for the next new thing you can learn. Our family lives from one side of the country to the other and seeing the grand land of America has been a blessing. We also like to focus on American History & Church History in different parts of the country which has helped give depth and understanding to the challenges of Fore Father's and Ancestors.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church,, as we say, but everyone has a point that they have to determine if it is true for them. Mine came at the age of 6 , we had moved to a new state and I had taken my Sister's High School ring, which she had worked very hard for.I lost it outside in a newly furrowed yard .When I realized I had lost the precious ring, I was sick and felt horrible .I knew my sister would be heart broken. I knelt on the ground and poured out my heart to Heavenly Father and when I opened my eyes there was a spark of gleaming light . I went directly to the spot and found the ring. It was in the bottom of the deep furrow , only God would know where it was. This was a sure witness for me of Heavenly Father's love for me and my sister . Even though I had done wrong, the Lord showed me where it was. Prayer and knowing God listens to me has kept me afloat through the death of our oldest, difficult family issues ,being able to enjoy joyful reunions and terrifying exams! The Lord has answered my prayers through Church Leaders , family and friends. Heavenly Father , is just that, He is my Father who lives in Heaven and He cares for and loves me as my earthly Father and more. The Church of Jesus Christ is true and reading the Book of Mormon is like hearing what the Lord would say to me. All of our lives have been blessed because of our membership in this church.

How I live my faith

I was a member of a small musical group and found the people in it, faithful and committed to seeking Christ in their lives. The group was comprised of many different Faiths. It was difficult at times because they had performances on Sunday. Sunday , for me is the Sabbath and when I have not kept it as the Lord's day , I have felt ungrateful and sad. I talked with our conductor and she was very understanding and she chose to change the up coming year's event's to have No Sunday Concerts . It was so kind and gracious of her and made it possible for me to attend all the concerts. We are now Missionaries serving with the missionaries in the Rome Italy Mission. It is wonderful to see the up coming leaders of our church and the world. They are hard working, honest , they desire education and are working towards many goals. They have limitless energy , and keeping up with them takes effort. I love The Gospel of Jesus Christ. His way leads to joy for all stages of life and for all walks of life.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Mary Bullock
The most important knowledge I have come to understand is that God lives, I am His daughter and He love me. He loves you too! Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and He has redeemed me so I can return to My Heavenly Father. I have felt His love for me and gentle directions. I had a dream just the other night, I was in a building that burst into flames. The exits were all a blaze with no escape. The next moment I was being carried out to safety without hurt or harm. I awoke knowing my Savior had rescued me. We all feel trapped at times, and when fear can become as flames. Jesus Christ will rescue and redeem, His love is real. The Holy Ghost is a powerful personage and constant companion that has strengthened, comforted, enlightened, testified, warned, and guided me through this mortal journey. After 60 years of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life, I can testify that Jesus Christ is my North Star, my true center, my perfect pitch, and bedrock anchor against shifting values, fears, and contradictions. I know there is but one way to return to God and our home on high when this life is completed. It is through Jesus Christ, the good news is there can be ‘joy and peace’ along the way through the Gospel of Jesus Christ now! It is my prayer you will seek Jesus Christ and learn for yourself the Joy and Peace that can be yours. Show more Show less
