Hi I'm Kiki

I've grown up in the Midwest, and decided to leave my home to serve others in a country I've never been before. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student studying to become a music therapist. I'm a daughter, sister, and aunt and love my family! I enjoy learning of all kinds, but in particular music and dinosaurs. I love to watch Baseball, and will usually be cheering for the KC royals. If playing on the field, I love soccer, and softball. I love all things music and have sang in many choirs, across the United States. I have picked up playing piano and guitar as well. I will always say yes to eating some ice cream.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church, by great parents. They have taught me all my life what is right and wrong. As a I have been progressing in life, I was encouraged to pray to Heavenly Father to find out for myself if the gospel is true. When I did, I got an overwhelming feeling of knowledge that the gospel is true. It was a feeling like no other. I learned for myself that the Book of Mormon is true, and that Joseph Smith was a true prophet. I have felt Christ's love for me and I know that he suffered so that I might have joy. When I knew all those things were true, I was certain that this church is the true church, and where I belonged. I have chosen to be a member of this church because of the peace it brings to my life. When ever I feel lonely or discouraged, I can always rely on the Gospel to help me through my trials. It is the foundation in my life and I am so grateful that I was given the Book of Mormon, and could pray to know for myself if it was true.

How I live my faith

I try to always look for ways to help those in my community. I arranged and participated in a Bake drive to help rebuild a local town after a tornado swept through, and was able to raise thousands of dollars for them. I have also arranged numerous food drives, clothing donations, and have helped make care kits for foster care kids and refugees. I have now decided to become a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Lattee Day Saints, and will bring others to Jesus Christ by service, teaching, and love. No matter where I am or how I am serving the Lord, I feel peace and love for the work I am accomplishing.
