Hi I'm Jared Morales de Leon

I'm a Mormon. I'm a pacific island dancer. I'm a bodyguard. I'm happy to meet you!

About Me

I come from a family of entertainers in music and dance. Growing up, my family and I performed many different pacific islander dances for many audiences on both sides of the U.S. We are also a former military family so we have had the occasion to travel around the country. I currently work as a bodyguard for a surviving wife of the federal lawyer who wrote all the labor laws of our country. I have a deep appreciation for my culture and all cultures I have become acquainted with over the years.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always believed. My parents joined the church before I was born. Like all members of the church, you have to eventually know for yourself, regardless of the faith of your parents. I am no different. I was taught by my father about the church, I embraced them. Soon after, I asked him to baptize me. Life has never been simple for me as a member of the church, but I wouldn't have had it any other way. I tend to celebrate all the similarities I find between the many different religions I encounter, and I have many friends who are not members of our church. We get along just fine.

How I live my faith

I rarely quote other people to express my views, but I have made exceptions for my favorite non-Mormon author in an effort to demonstrate that we are open minded people and love all things good that the world has to offer: "I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else." "I gave in, and admitted that God was God." "We all want progress, but if you're on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case, the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive." "We are what we believe we are." "What saves a man is to take a step. Then another step." - C. S. Lewis In the song of our lives are found friend & family. They're like the individual notes that create the melody... they make those sweet moments that cause you to recall in your mind the sweetness & beauty of that song. Let them play in your mind often & never forget them as they make the whole song of your life. Because of you; my friends & family I enjoy that melody of happiness, of truth... my song of you & I:)

What do Mormons believe about family?

Jared Morales de Leon
I look forward to seeing my family every time I get the chance. We live all over the country, and in spite of this we remain close. I also look forward to seeing them after this life, knowing that we must all pass on one way or another. This is the comfort I have above all else in my life: that life doesn't end here...
