Hi I'm Kyle Michael Hedricks

I grew up in Central PA. I am a Communist. I love History and Philosophy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello, so i am Kyle. Well a little bit about me, what to say. My hobbies include playing video games, reading up on history, philosophy, politics, and economics, those 4 things are also my interests. I am trying to take up Russian as a language, I also love to debate, and view knowledge as the most valuable thing we can get on this earth, besides the sacred ordinances. I also love music, I try to sing in every choir I can get into, and I play the Tuba and Trombone. I do not go to college yet, but I will be after I go on my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of very kind people. I was Agnostic, but in school we were challenged to better one of our areas of wellness after we took a test. The test said my spiritual wellness was lacking, so I asked a friend to borrow a Book of Mormon, cause i was going to try and read from all the holy books. Well i couldn't find a Torah or Koran, but I started to read the Book of Mormon, and I found it interesting. I then asked if I could accompany them to church the following Sunday. I saw how happy everyone was, and for me having a history of being depressed, I wanted this happiness. The Elders at the church quickly asked me if I was interested in learning more, and I happily said yes. So this same family who hardly knew me, except for their child being a new friend of mine, opened up their house to me and the Elders, and we had regular meetings on Monday. This family put aside Family Home Evening to help bring someone unto Christ. After awhile I agreed to be baptized, and I had yet received any conformation from the Holy Ghost that the church was true, but I didn't want to give up. Not 10 minutes after my baptism, when the father of the family was speaking about The Holy Spirit, like I had asked him too, i felt this strange sensation. Something i had never felt before, it was incredible. I was filled with so much love, and awe. It took everything in me not to cry, as this incredible peace swept over me. This is why I am a Mormon, I took a leap of faith, took a step in the dark, and Heavenly Father in turn rewarded me with the knowledge that I was on the right path.

How I live my faith

I am still a very new convert, only baptized 4 months ago when typing this up, but I am living my faith by going to church every Sunday. I have been called to be my ward choir conductor, and I participate in the youth activities. It is a bit of a challenge to live the faith, coming from dis belief, but every day i try my best, and it gets easier, and as the days go on, I will participate more and more

Does The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints endorse political parties?

Kyle Michael Hedricks
No, the Church does not endorse any political parties. The church even says that no religious society or church should ever control a nation, because it limits the freedom of people to choose. So the Church does its utmost to stay out of politics Show more Show less
