Hi I'm Devin Parsons

I'm a Fun Lover, a Sassy Grandma, a Day Dreamer and a Space Explorer. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I believe that life is best with humor. Nothing should be taken too seriously. I like to think that I have a very strange sense of humor and I like to be abstract in my actions. I look for the positive in life and hope for the best. I love music and that's an understatement. Music is what courses through my lifeline and it keeps me going. I believe all types of music are spiritual. I play Piano, Trumpet, Percussion and Sing on occasions. I may not be phenomenal but I enjoy the opportunity to play and to listen. I enjoy playing Tennis and Soccer. Tennis is the best way for me to get out my jitters, so to speak. I went to Utah State University and I plan to go back. I love ideas and being creative! I love being with people who just like having a good time. I love being sporadic and random and it's the best when people play along. I try to be friends with everyone. I from the wonderland of Bountiful Utah!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this church but it's been in the back of my mind most of my life. I lived by the principles taught anyways and only now can I realized how immensely I've been blessed by our Heavenly Father. At about Junior Year in High School, I began to realize what life is all about and what's most important. I learned that people are people and that everyone is just doing what they know and what they think is best and the best thing we can do for them is to love them. I also learned that there is a lot of confusion in the world and that the knowledge I have that there is a life and a purpose that we are working towards after this life was priceless and it's something that I knew for sure and nothing could take that away. It was such a comfort. I also later began to be surrounded by many people who seemed stuck in life and I found that the only difference between me and them was the Gospel and the principles taught in it. Today I continue to be a Mormon because of the outcome of living it. The blessings I've received in my life are too much to count and the mere fact that I have a second chance with God and others through my Savior Jesus Christ is miraculous.

How I live my faith

Today, I am currently serving a full time two year mission for the church in the New Hampshire, Manchester mission. I have learned and grown so much since the time I first wondered. The best thing for anyone is to never give up and constantly press forward.
