Hi I'm Robyn

I'm a sweet tooth, a unicorn lover and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the 6th of a family of 8. 7 girls and 1 boy. I grew up pretty much just messing around with the rest of the family. We did normal things like play pranks, eat too much candy, and watch a lot of movies. When I was 18 I left the nest and went off into the world for ADVENTURE! I went to a small community college where you REALLY had to use your imagination if you wanted to have any kind of fun. Seriously. It. Was. Micro. I THOUGHT I had a clue what I was doing. Turns out I don't. Someday I want to open a Bed and Breakfast and have a family and do all the exciting things I've had on my bucket list forever, but as of now, I'm just a normal 22 year old. Having a good old time, and doing exciting things!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in Utah so I was always just surrounded by mormons. It's something I took for granted. I never really understood what was so great about this church, but I knew that there was a God. I never could deny that. I knew that there was someone who was making everything go round. It wasn't until I was in college when I really decided if I wanted to keep going to church or not, now that my mother wasn't "gently nudging" me to go. I just remember distinctly not going to church the first few weeks. It was nice to have that...freedom to choose I guess. But it seemed that I wasn't as happy as before. I realized that something was missing and then decided I needed to get back to church. It really truely made me realized that there IS a God and he has a plan for us! He knows what we go through and He knows why we go through that! I have changed ALL sorts of plans and have deicded to rely on God. I figure He knows what He is doing more that I do. I've gone through many disappoinments and struggles but I have learned along the way (the hard way) that it's so much easier to do the things that God would have you do rather than try and live life the way YOU think it should be lived. The trials I've faced in life have always made me a better person. I've learned to rely on God for the hard things that happen, after all, He has been through it all so He knows how to comfort you most.

How I live my faith

I try to read my scriptures and pray everyday. I go to all my sunday meetings and try to participate in that. I try to be an example to those I meet. Just do the small things that really make a difference in someone else's life! I love to help others who are really just struggling cause I've been there! Going to church is a huge blessing that we have. I love to go to church and really just feel the spirit there and 'recharge' for the next week.
