Hi I'm Andrea

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother to two beautiful children with another soon on her way. My family is my life and joy. I received a teaching degree in Family and Home Economics, but I enjoy using the skills I have learned to better my home and relations with my family and others rather than be in workforce. I love to cook, sew and create anything. I am a very mechanical person so I always am up for figuring out something new or how something works. The most fun I have is cooking with my family and watching my children discover the joy of creating as well. I also think kids should be involved with lots of experiences so we make lots of crafts, explore bugs and trees on walks, and get our hands dirty. I could never replace the joy I feel as my family and I get to be together and enjoy the moments we have.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have never felt more happy than when I am doing those things our Heavenly Father desires of us. I know I am His daughter and that He knows me, hears me, and wants me to be happy. When I share experiences with my daughter of the love our Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ, have for us, she lights up and always gets so excited. I am thrilled to know that this family I have can be mine for eternity because I chose to make promises in the holy temple and my Heavenly Father so lovingly returns the promise to me of being able to live with my family for eternity. It gives me comfort in this life to know that I never have to do anything alone, that God is always mindful of His children and if I ask He will be there in Spirit to help guide me. I have had countless prayers answered that I cannot deny the existence of a loving Heavenly Father who wants to bless each of us.

How I live my faith

I love being so involved in a great work. I am able to spend countless hours with the children of our church, overseeing lessons taught, teaching them simple lessons of faith, planning activities and dealing with everyday issues they are facing. I have a great love for the children and admire the courage they have to be strong and hold high morals in such a harsh world. They love so deeply and have a huge desire to make good choices.
