Hi I'm Kyla

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

About Me

I am a student at BYU majoring in Chemical Engineering. I love photography and I miss doing gymnastics. I have one sister and my parents are divorced, so I travel a lot between two houses when I visit home. I have learned to love my family and it's imperfections so much through the gospel of Jesus Christ!

Why I am a Mormon

The young womens' program is what initially converted me to the gospel. I saw a light in the eyes of my friends and leaders that I wanted to know better. Attending church and hearing the testimonies of the members was so touching. I realized that when I grew up I wanted to have a family that could be together forever. I knew the only way for that to be possible was by going to the temple to be sealed to my husband and family by the proper authority when the time came, and I knew I couldn't do that without being baptized. I acted on teachings that I didn't yet understand and ended up gaining a very strong testimony. My sister and I were then baptized and I have only gained a more sure knowledge of the truth of this gospel since then.

How I live my faith

I have been involved in the AMAZING young womens program, and now I am involved in planning activities for the womens' group. I attend church each week, and pray and read my scriptures daily. I live the teachings of the prophet and strive to be more like Christ each day.
