Hi I'm Megan.

I'm a student, wife, advocate of happiness and delicious food. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently studying International Relations and Spanish at my university. I love learning about the variety in our world and opportunities we get to learn and grow every single day. My husband and I are on a trek to discover the world as we witness the miraculous blessings of those around us. I love to cook, decorate, sew, create and dream. I really love to pay attention to the small acts each day that make me aware that there is a God and that he loves us infinitely. Our lives revolve around our family and I am so grateful for the knowledge I get to live with them forever after this life. We're thrilled to have children and teach them the rich variety of culture, people and the influence of Christ's love, for his love changes people.

Why I am a Mormon

As I have lived the principles of the gospel I have found no greater happiness than what this church has brought me. I have great parents, family, and friends that taught me the path that will make my life full of peace and purpose. I acted on these teachings by applying the atonement and love of our Savior Jesus Christ to my life. That power is stronger than anything on this earth. I've learned to see the beautiful, perfect, daily blessings that the Lord reminds me that he loves me and has a plan for me on this earth. I am also in absolute awe at how the church is organized and carries out the work. All activities in a "ward" or neighborhood are carried out by volunteers that love the Lord and love others. The church is so world wide I can go from Utah to Mexico and the lessons are all the same, the programs from grown men & women, young adults to children, financial programs, scouting programs, and all others are run with exactness and order. It is also absolutely incredible to belong to the largest women's organization in the whole world that focuses on changing lives and bringing people happiness. This gospel is everything I am, and I encourage all who have questions to ask, but particularly ask the Lord in prayer if The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. I know you will receive an answer.

How I live my faith

It's the daily acts, prayers, reading, and studying that I have gained a deep love for both The Bible and The Book of Mormon. I know both books to be the word of God. Read them, then ask our Father in Heaven if they are true. He will answer you. I also know that we have living prophets on the earth today! What a time to be here on this earth to receive direct, personal guidance from our Father in Heaven.
