Hi I'm Michelle

I am a wife, a mother, and a heart transplant recipient. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy singing and have been able to share my talents with others by teaching vocal lessons to youth in my community, and I have opportunities to sing in a vocal trio with my two sisters at various events. I love my family and love spending time with them. My husband and I adopted a 15 year old girl two years ago, she has opened a new world for us. We are so grateful that we had the opportunity to take our daughter to the temple so she could be ours for eternity. Families can be together forever, through our Heavenly Father's plan.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because my parents are Mormons. I was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I was eight years old. As I grew older and learned more about Jesus Christ I was able to develop my own testimony of the gospel. I know I have a loving Heavenly Father who wants us to return to live with him someday. He is there for us anytime we may need him and we can talk to him through pray. When I was 21 years old my heart began to fail and I was transplanted with a new one. I know my Father in Heaven watches over me and my health. I have had my transplanted heart for 21 years and my health is excellent. I know I have a purpose on this earth and part of that purpose is to be a wife and mother and to help and love those around me. I know Jesus Christ is my redeemer and paid the price for my shortcomings and sins and it is through Him we are able to return to our Heavenly Father. I am a Mormon because God has a plan for us, it is a plan of happiness, peace, and love. The gospel of Jesus Christ has brought so much happiness to me and my family.

How I live my faith

I have the privilege of teaching a group of eight and nine year old boys and girls about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I learn so much from them, they are so smart. I create a calendar each month for the church members in my area. I try to be an example of how Jesus Christ would want us to serve and love each other.
