Hi I'm Elizabeth

I'm a Mormon. I love people specialy when they smile. I am a student at BYU-I. Have dance since I was 3. I am a missionary

About Me

I am number 5 of 8 children. I am going to college to be a teacher because I absolutely love children and I want to help them love math as much as I do. I have been a dancer since I was born. My mom owns a dance studio so I lived around dance, it is my passion. I love to make people smile by doing things for them when ever possible. I consider everybody a friend that I just haven't met yet. I collect stuffed animals and currently have 453 of them. I love to stand in the middle of a room and sing at the top of my longs while dancing in whatever way I feel. I one day want to be married in the temple to someone who loves me more than words can describe. I am kind of a prankster, but in a good way, I love to do things for people or send someone something that I know will brighten their whole day. I love planning things and getting the job done. Sports are so much fun to play, specially with friends because then the rules don't have to be exact. and these are a few things I do and love.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was younger I was like any child and followed in my parents footsteps, going to church with them and being a Mormon. Now that I am older I have questioned my faith and asked myself why I am a Mormon. I have prayed with all of my heart to know if this church is true I have read the Book of Mormon and studied and done everything that I could think of to find out it this church is true. When I was 14 something very distinct happened to me that I will never forget. I was struggling a lot with just the normal everyday teenager life things and I was struggling very much with depression. After this event happened I knew without a shadow of a doubt that there was a God and that he knew me and loved me. I cannot ever doubt or deny that fact ever again. The feelings that I received during this even have stuck with me and I turn to them often. That event sent me on a search for the true gospel of God. after searching I found that the feelings I get when I am learning this Mormon gospel are from God and they are good and clear. I have come to know that this gospel is the true and the full gospel restored to the earth in these latter days. That feeling I received when I was 14 is the same feeling that I get when I read the Book of Mormon and when I am learning this gospel. I know it is true with all of my being and I cannot deny what I have felt and what I know to be true. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love to hear little children sing. In church I was asked to teach for 1 year the children 11 years old and younger how to sing. While I was at college these last few months I had the opportunity to plan activities for young single adults. I planned these events with another person and we had tons of fun planning together. These activities took a lot of work but were super fun. Since I was little I have been dancing in talent shows for church and school and any other evets that are going on at the time. Every year my home town puts on a Christmas parade and I dance in the parade. I have so much fun dancing in it every year. When I was in band I would play at football games and we would play in the parade as well and we would play in the spring parade to. My home town also puts on a fair every summer and I dance at the fair. I was volunteering at the hospital in my home town, I was able to meet a lot of people and learned how to help others and to make sure things are done right the first time. One thing that I love to do is baby sitting and I do a lot of it. I have so much fun playing with the kids and getting to know them. It is always sad when they move away or when I leave for college. My dad always takes his kids with him when he is going some where to help someone do something. A lot of the time he takes us to help someone move. I used to not like doing it at all but now I love it and I am the one looking to help people do things. I live my faith by service.
