Hi I'm Taylore Davis

I've lived in Utah my whole life. I'm the youngest of five kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play baseball with my family, and dance with my friends. I played violin for 5 years then fell in love with the double bass. I'm a senior at my high school and am about to graduate from high school and seminary. I plan on going to college to get my Masters degree in Criminal Justice-Forensics. I'm the youngest of 5 kids, but yet not the shortest. I love to be outdoors, but yet hiking is really not my thing. I love to draw pictures and won first place in my school's World Language Fair in the category of Deaf Art. I know ASL, and am trying to teach it to my nieces and nephews.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was born into the covenant, I still have a story to be told. When I was two years-old, My mom was holding me and she asked me why I choose this family. I don't think she meant for me to respond, but I did. I told her very clearly that a boy had brought me here. My mom was so shocked that she just didn't say anything. A couple years later when I was 8 and was being baptized, I told my mom that i felt like their was a boy their with me, when I came out of the water. She started to cry and told me that I had had an another brother, besides my oldest brother but he was a still born, and never made it full term. Then she proceeded to tell the story from when i was two. We both started to cry, and she told me that if my brother was with me. When i was 16 i got the chance to go on Pioneer Trek, with my stake. I decided to walk for my brother. I felt him there with me every step of the way. It was the best experience of my life. Even though my mother would never admit it to me, I believe that I have my brother to thank for me even being born, because my parents only wanted to have 5 kids and my two sisters would have been born after him and that would have made 5. I know that My brother helps me through this life and that without him and my loving Heavenly Father, I wouldn't be able to get through this life. I believe in Guardian Angels, and the Power of Prayer. There have been many times in my life, when I could not longer stand and fell to my knees in prayer to my Heavenly Father. I know that he answers all prayers, it may not be in the way that we would like them to be in, but he still answers them. I know that I have a purpose and mission here on this earth and i know that God will make my life so much more then I could ever. Because with God nothing is impossible!

How I live my faith

I'm the Laurel's Class President, and help in planning activities for the youth in my ward. I also am a Youth Leader for the Youth Conference Planning Committee, and help to plan our annual camping trip.
