Hi I'm Nate Alder

I'm an innovator and a serial entrepreneur, creating new inventions and commercializing them around the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an adventure junkie passionate for exciting opportunities in exploration, innovation, sports, business, travel, etc. I am very tenacious and love to live life to the fullest, and serve as many people along the way that I can.

Why I am a Mormon

Although being raised in the LDS culture and church by my mum (a convert from Australia) and my father (3rd generation Mormon from Utah), I have had a number of "Conversion" experiences along my life path, just ask, and I will share :-) I am not one to ever take things at face value, I am a scientist, I love proof and to understand everything, but I have never had more confidence in the veracity of something as I have in the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I try my best to live the teachings I know to be true, and help others benefit from the same blessings that come from that. Just as anyone else I have my weaknesses and make mistakes, but I am grateful for the atoning sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ that allows me to pick myself up after making mistakes, clean myself off, and move forward. I find so much personal guidance in reading the scriptures every day, especially the Book of Mormon, and I find so many blessings in trying to live its teachings, loving and serving others around me. From Aug 2000 - 2002 I had the privilege of serving a full time mission in the Peru Lima Central mission, all the way up to Macchu Picchu and Cusco. Until I recently got married, those were the best days of my life, despite the fact we lived out of 1 suite case, worked 18 hour days, not social activities, no running water or electricity at times in our adobe huts, etc. I never wanted to leave, serving the people of Peru was an amazing blessing that became the foundation for me to build the rest of my life on.
