Hi I'm Miranda Sparish

I'm a country girl from the South. I'm a college graduate. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college graduate with a B.S. in Marketing. I played softball in some form all my life. I love baseball. I love reading, making my own jewelry, and spending time with my family, especially my three sisters. I adore my neice. I'm a big fan of country music. I enjoy taking pictures, especially of nature. I love being from a big family, with five siblings, it never gets boring. I love my Savior and Redeemer and I'm grateful for the gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon, but that's not why I'm Mormon. Sure I believed because my parents did, but I discovered for myself it was true. Everyday I see some evidence, big or small, that proves my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love and know me. I know They exist and the Spirit testifies this to me. I know that the Savior came to earth and lived a perfect life. He suffered in the garden for each one of us; He not only knows our pains, our sorrows, our weaknesses, but our joys, our triumphs, our desires. He died on the cross and arose three days later. He lives! In 1820, He came to the boy Joseph Smith. He restored His church through Joseph. The Book of Mormon is true and is evidence of the Savior and His ministry. The book also proves God is our loving Heavenly Father, who will never forsake His children because we are His spirit children. He will never leave us. Miracles continue to occur, because everyday is a miracle. The sun rises, children are born, every good thing is a miracle. The gospel just makes sense. It makes me happy and at peace when I'm doing what the Savior would have me do. I know this gospel is true; and although I may not understand every aspect, I still believe it is the fulness of Christ's church restored to earth day.

How I live my faith

Everyday is a challenge. I'll be honest. I know what the Savior would have me do, after all, He did set the perfect example. I try everyday to show love to my family, refrain from speaking harshly, listen and respect others opinions, and the not judging others is the biggest struggle. After all, I am only human. I read from the scriptures every morning and ask in my prayers to be more Christlike. I try to give acts of service everyday in some way without being asked. I want to do what the Lord would have me do. I'm working on being more in tune with the Spirit and having charity for all. I hope when others see me they see the blessings of the Savior in my life.
