Hi I'm Brittany.

I grew up in Sin City. I'm an animal, book, and ice cream lover. I live in Tokyo, Japan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of six kids and our house is always a zoo, so free time is hard to come by. It seems like all the activities I like to do are ones I can do alone---read, cook, paint, draw. One of my favourite hobbies is journal-keeping. My dream career would be as an editor for a publishing company, but short of that I would love to work in a pet store all day playing with puppies.

Why I am a Mormon

There is nothing like the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Other churches can bring you closer to God, and other churches can provide a loving community, but what really makes this church special is the complete overview of our existence that we believe and teach. As an individual, I know where I came from before I was born and that my Heavenly Father prepared me for all the challenges on earth. I know my goal---to return to live with God and Jesus Christ---and the doctrines of the chruch teach me how to get there. I don't have to have any fears or worries because I know Heavenly Father has a master plan for me. It is so comforting to know my place in the world and have so many people and resources available to help me fulfill my potential.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as a full-time missionary in Tokyo, Japan. Every day for about eighteen months, I am out on the streets and in people's homes teaching about Jesus Christ and inviting the Japanese people to follow His teachings. The gospel of Jesus Christ brings me so much fulfillment, and I want the Japanese people to have what I have and know what I know.
