Hi I'm Maggie

I'm a mom. I'm a wife. I'm a nurse. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a full time working mom. I love my career as a registered nurse and consider myself blessed to have a profession that allows me to serve my fellow man. I have been married to my sweetheart since 1999, and we were sealed for time and all eternity last year. We have three precious children--2 boys (11 years & 8 years) and 1 daughter (3 years) We love eating ice cream, swimming, and watching movies. I love watching my sons play football, and getting pedicures with my sweet little daughter. In my spare time, which is rare, I love to read, shop, and could spend countless hours on Pinterest!

Why I am a Mormon

Being born and raised in Texas, and blessed with a faithful mother, I regularly attended the Church of Christ. Following Christ was second nature to me. I loved him, and knew that he saved all mankind. As a teenager, my family began to take the missionary discussions. At first I was confused as to why we would need another church. I didn't immediately see the differences. In fact, today, I still see so many similarities. The one difference I did notice--immediately--is how this church made me feel. How I felt when I read the Book of Mormon, and powerfully my prayers were answered and confirmed. Being a Mormon, strengthens my family, and reminds me I am part of a bigger family.

How I live my faith

I teach the 3 year old children every Sunday at Church. I love the sweet innocence of these young spirits. They remind me that as followers of Christ, we should be as a little child. I also see the faith of a child, is the strongest faith of all. In short, I think they teach me more.
