Hi I'm Sydney

I'm from Utah. I have been and always will be a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read and watch movies. Well, okay, I just really love hearing a good story! I also have a rather large family and we get together all the time. I'm currently away at college and I can't believe how much I miss being able to see my grandparents, cousins, and everybody else whenever I want to. I have three adorable nephews who I would do anything for. And I love watching Star Trek. I can't play sports due to my lack of any coordination, but I love to sing with my sisters and every once in a while will take out a baseball bat and attempt to join in the family game. Honestly, I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up, where I want to be, or any of the other important decisions in life. But I do know I am a daughter of God and that with a little faith it will all work out.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was six my Dad died. I grew up without him. I am a Mormon because even though I never really got a chance to get to know my Dad on Earth. I know that by living as close to Christ as I can possibly get, I will get the opportunity to live with my Dad and the rest of my family in the Celestial Kingdom! That's what I want. I have been lost, hurt, and confused many times in my life, but no amount of pain and suffering will ever loom over the joy and happiness the gospel gives me. It is my hope, my love, my joy, my everything!

How I live my faith

I got to serve on the Seminary Council in my high school. I loved it. I grew to love being involved with my Brothers and Sisters here on Earth. I am now finishing a calling in planning Family Home-evening activities for my ward. I live with the mentality that if the Lord is offering you a chance to serve in his Church or in your community, you accept it! It is most likely more for your own growth than those you are serving.
