Hi I'm Kayla

i grew up in utah. i am serving a mission in North carolina. i'm a mormon

About Me

I am serving a mission in the North carolina,Raleigh mission. I grew up in a home that was founded on obedience and hardwork. I love to milk cows and ride horses and do anything that involves being outside. I enjoy playing the piano, crocheting, reading, scrapbooking. I am a sucker for cheesy romantic movies. I want to go to school to be a vet when I return home from my mission. I love hanging out with my family, we are super close knit together. I have a brother serving in guatemala city central mission. He is my best friend. I am grateful to my parents for raising to be the person I am. I am grateful to serve the people of north carolina. it is a huge blessing in my life. I know it will change me to be the best person my heavenly father wants me to be. I know that it will change others lives as well and I am grateful for the oppotunity that I have been given to do that.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church my whole life, but i didn't recieve a testimony until i read the Book of Mormon myself and prayed to know if it was true. i received a confirmation that it was and the peace and joy that came to my heart was overwhelming and amazing and know as a missionary I am able to help others do the same and the joy of seeing someone feel the spirit and the love of our heavenly father is amazing. It is also amazing to see how much happier they are.

How I live my faith

i live my faith by helping other people come unto jesus christ and the knowledge of the restored gospel.

What do Mormons believe about family?

families are very important to latter day saints. they are ordained of god and god put us here in families for a purpose. that purpose is to help us learn in grow from each other and also how to love each other. our families do not end in this life. they are with us forever through saving ordiances of the gospel. so when a loved one dies, we know that we can see them again and that that joy and the memories we have them will not be lost. i love my family and i am grateful for them. i know that families are forever.
