Hi I'm Lori

I'm an engineering student, I'm passionate about soccer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently studying to be an aeronautical engineer. I am fascinated by the idea of creating a machine which allows us to achieve the impossible: prolonged human flight. As I study engineering and recognize how far we have come, I'm excited by the endless possibilities we have before us. Staying physically active is also something very important to me. When I take care of my body, my mind is more alert, and I am more spiritually sensitive. I played soccer competitively growing up, and I still play for fun whenever I get the chance.

Why I am a Mormon

I continue to follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ, because it makes me happy and gives me a sense of direction. The Church answers the question of what I should be doing with my time here in this life. I am a firm believer in taking advantage of the present, and the full gospel allows and encourages me to do that.

How I live my faith

Daily scripture study and prayer are two absolutely critical things for me. The scriptures are the place where I am able to read and learn God's will and plan for each of us here on Earth. Prayer is the way I am able to learn and clarify his will for me personally and my time here. I find the most peace, joy, and fulfillment when my actions and life are aligned with what Heavenly Father wants them to be.
