Hi I'm Garett Moore

I was born in Canada, in the center of B.C. I've been happily married for two years, I enjoy the outdoors, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up just outside a small town of about 10,000 people on a Dry land farm of 320 acres, and 14 horses. I drove tractor during hay season, and trained horses in the spring. During the school year i was heavily envolved in school sports inclueding Volleyball, Basketball, Rugby, and Football. Every fall my father would take us on a two week long hunting trip for Elk, in the Rockies, at the top of B.C. When i graduated from my highschool, i recieved the Sr. Athlete of the year award, and then two days after my birthday, I went and served a mission in Guatemala. When i got home i moved to Utah and went to school for a year. When money was running out i recieved some help in the form of a plane ticket and a place to stay. He lives in Moses lake, Wa. While living there, I met the woman who is now my wife. and the rest is still being written.

Why I am a Mormon

Both my parents are converts to the church, my dad joined a couple of years after marrying my mother, who joined the church as a young woman with her parents. I was raised in a good home, my parents always encouraging me to be a better person, and i soon found that the classes i attended at church were trying to teach me the same thing. I have experienced very simple principles of the gospel in my life, such as the blessings of paying tithing, and doing service. Living in such a way that i wouldn't be embarrassed to meet my maker. I took it upon myself to read the book of mormon as a young adult and pray to know if it was true. I recieved an answer to my question. and i havn't looked back since.

How I live my faith

I serve as the second couseler in the elders quarom, I live my religion and follow the guide lines, and in a way it sets me free, free from any addiction or vice. I answer any questions my friends have. and i hope to one day raise my children to do the same
