Hi I'm Angela

I am a convert to the church and the gospel has blessed my life more than I ever thought imagined. I am a Mormon

About Me

I am a mother of 3 children, an Army wife, a preschool teacher, and a full-time student. I stayed at home with my children until they all were in school, and this school year I went back to work part-time. I love being a preschool teacher being around children who bring a smile to my face everyday with their sweet and honest personalities. Also I have been taking online college classes for what seems like forever, but in June (3 more classes), I will finally earn my BA in Social Sciences with the hopes of teaching elementary school. I have enjoyed living in foreign countries as well. I lived in Germany, Okinawa, and Italy. Living in a different foreign countries has opened my eyes to the world and I truly love to travel. The most important job I have is to be there for my children. Recently, I have really wanted to create memories with them so they can look back and know they were loved.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up not really having a church background. I was stationed in San Diego and a friend invited me to church because he said I needed something to truly believe in. Going through a hard time and trying to find who I was, I took him up on that offer. I was baptized a month later and everyday since then, I see what a blessing the gospel is in my everyday life. There has been challenges because I am the only member in my family, but I see how Heavenly Father fills in the gaps to bring true joy into my life. I have had struggles over the years, but I have always held onto my testimony knowing the change brought to my heart to the gospel was a gift from Heavenly Father and he has shown me his merciful grace countless times. I have learned that I am royalty because I am a daughter of God and my worth is infinite. He has made me a better person and I strive everyday to keep a tight grasp on the gospel so my children will know who they are as they grow. I know the Gospel of Jesus Christ is genuine and it truly overwhelms me when I think of all the love Jesus offers ME! I don't think I ever did anything to deserve it. But, he still freely gives and only wants my love and obedience in return.

How I live my faith

I am striving to create a home that will be centered around Christ. I work so hard on daily family prayers and teaching my children how much Christ Jesus loves them. What has kept my faith alive is my testimony. When I talk about the church, Christ, and how the gospel has changed my life, my spirit awakens and a light is turned on within me. Sometimes it is hard to do because not everyone is ready to hear The true Gospel of Jesus Christ, but when I do, I can just feel the love of God all around me as if he were giving me a hug. I have moved a myriad of times because of the military and it is always hard to leave friends behind and move forward, but going to a new Church in the new city (or country) is like being covered up with my most favorite blanket fresh from the dryer. I know Heavenly Father loves ALL his children the same and being a part of this church is like having an extended family wherever I go.
