Hi I'm Jerry

I'm a husband, father and grandfather. I am a retired contractor and carpenter. I enjoy woodworking. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in California. My first job was repairing bicycles in my dad's garage. When I was thirteen we all were transplanted to the Pacific Northwest. My work career has always been some form of construction or contracting: framing homes, building chain-link fences, building homes, and repairing homes damaged by fire, wind and water. My passion is rejuvenating old homes. My wife and I have been married for almost 41 years. We have three daughters and six grandchildren. I love cars and trucks, and can name any old car's year and model by looking at the grill.

Why I am a Mormon

At twenty-one I investigated the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I read the Book of Mormon from cover to cover in one weekend. I applied Moroni 4:10 which states that the Holy Ghost will tell you the truth of all things. I received a witness from the Holy Ghost that the Gospel is true, and have not waivered in that belief since.

How I live my faith

I hope my example shows what my faith means to me. I try to help the less fortunate. I strive to be a good friend. I also show my faith by attending church and serving in my church callings.
