Hi I'm Jon Wardle

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a dad! I'm a husband! I am a friend! I serve in my church and in my community. I have my own business. I enjoy travelling, reading, listening to good music, and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in Jesus Christ. I know that He walked upon the earth as a perfect being. Jesus took upon Him my sins and infirmities in the Garden. He died on the cross so that I might live again. His resurrection allows each of us to return to Heaven if we live like God would have us live. I know that Christ has special witnesses upon the Earth today.

How I live my faith

I feel it is important to attend church so that I may feel what God will have me do. One of my most memorable experiences serving others came just after Hurricane Katrina. Our church congretation from Jacksonville, Florida, sent work groups to New Orleans, Louisiana. It was humbling to go into areas that had been completely destroyed by the storm. Our group worked with many, regardless of their beliefs. Those we served showed genuine thanks. I have found by serving others, I am serving Christ.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Jon Wardle
Living throughout the United States, I have seen first hand how the Church has helped others, regardless of what they believe. I was surprised to find out that the Church sends immediate support to God's children throughout the world. When we lived in Florida, we saw that many times when hurricanes would pass through the region destroying many homes and places. God loves all of his children. The Church stands ready to comfort and serve those in need of comfort. Show more Show less
