Hi I'm Pam

I'm a Mormon. I am a grandma and love to spend time with my grandchildren. I love to be with my family and my horses.

About Me

I am a mother of 4 boys. I've taught elementary school for 33 years and love it. I enjoy working in the garden, riding my horses, boating, fishing and being with my husband and family. I love camping and riding in the mountains. I like the smell of everything after it has rained. I enjoy reading. I love to read old western stories and most all the classics. I like to go to movies. I love to travel and wish I could do more of it. I love being a grandmother and enjoy spending time with my grandchildren. I am grateful they all live so close.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the teachings of this gospel are the same teachings that Jesus Christ taught while he was on the earth. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. He died for me. Everything good and pure comes through Him. His teachings give me hope that one day we will be able to see our loved ones that have gone before us, and live with them as families again. Being a Mormon means that you devote your life to following the Savior. Giving of your time and talents to serve those around you. Trying to live your life as Jesus lived, because He is the great example. Finding joy in serving your family and neighbors because we are all brothers and sisters. We are sons and daughters of a Heavenly Father, who loves us. Being a Mormon means that you have a clear direction of the path that you are to take in this world, to return to our Father in Heaven and His son Jesus Christ. It gives you strength and power to overcome the evil of this world, and to stand for truth and righteousness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying daily to be an example of a woman who loves her Father in Heaven and His son Jesus Christ. I try to support and love my family. They are everything to me. They are gifts from God. I have the great blessing of working with the young women of our church, ages 12 to 18. I work with other women leaders, to develop and strengthen these young women to know who they are, daughters of God. To help them realize their self-worth and how important they are to this world. To prepare them to be future mothers that will raise their children to be able to choose right from wrong and to choose to serving others. We want these young women to understand they have divine gifts that were given to them by their Heavenly Father, to be able to stand against anything in the world that would make them feel unloved or degraded. These are young women that can change the world because they have strength and virtue and they are great examples to everyone around them.
