Hi I'm Sunni

I live in Arizona. I love to sing, dance, exercise, laugh and have fun. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love to dance, sing, act, hang out with family and friends, exercise, be active, etc. I'm currently attending college and am involved with the service club called HELP, the College Singers choir, and the LDS Institute Council. I work as a Respite Provider working for special individuals with disabilities. I love them dearly and look at them as a blessing. I hope all people can one day come to see what sweet and special spirits they have. I was priviledged to be the President of the Best Buddies Club in High School. We paired students with disabilities and students without disabilities as friends for the year. We organized monthly activities and they would hang out once a month together outside of school. We were honored with many awards, including the Most Outstanding Chapter of the year award out of 1,400 chapters in the world. This was all thanks to our great advisor and dedicated officers and members of the club. It was such a blessing to be apart of that.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been through many difficult challenges, as all of us have. But I know that if I live the Gospel with exactness, and seek to have God as number one in my life, I can get through anything. I love the quote from the musical, 'The Sound of Music'. Reverened Mother asks Maria,"What is the most important lesson you have learned here?" Maria replies; "To find out what is the will of God and do it wholeheartedly." That is my philosophy of life. I know it is the only way I can have true happiness in this life and in the next. My hope is that I live a good enough life to be worthy to be in my Lord's presence someday. I know if I have love and charity and serve those around me, I can help them feel the pure love of Christ so they too can choose to love and serve their Savior, Lord and King.

How I live my faith

I am the Ward Compassionate Service Leader in my Single's Ward. I think it is the best calling in the world. My good committee and I find those in need of Christ-like, selfless love and serve them in any way we can. I am also a faithful Visiting Teacher and love those I visit teach dearly. It's been such an amazing experience seeing some of their lives and hearts change for the better. I'm so lucky to have been a friend and teacher to them during that time.
