Hi I'm Jordan

I grew up in Nipomo, California. I went to high school in St. George, Utah. I love to make pots. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a family of 8, and they are very important to me. But my other love is art. In high school I focues mainly on graphic design, but once I got into college I took up ceramics. I love expressing myself through my artwork. Creativity is a God given talent and gift that each of us can express in different ways, and I find great joy in expressing it through pottery.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because my parents taught me, in my youth, to follow the Lord. Going along with the Lord's teachings, my parents taught me the importance of prayer, and how to receive answers and understanding from God. As I've seen how living the gospel brings happiness and how not living the gospel brings sorrow, and also through much prayer and study, I have come to know for myself that Jesus Christ loves each and everyone of us, and because of that he has given us greater understanding of God's plan for us. This understanding comes through the Book of Mormon--another testament of Jesus Christ--and through living prophets and apostles who lead and guide His church.

How I live my faith

One of the main ways that I live my faith is by sharing it everyday. I am currently serving the Lord full-time and loving every second of it. Being able to witness the gospel changing lives for the better has impacted me greatly. While I am far from perfect, really really far actually, I strive everyday to do all that the Lord asks and expects of me. I find great joy in serving others.
