Hi I'm Jessica

I am a wife and a full time mom of four kids. I love being a Mormon!

About Me

I am a mom of four young children. I am also lucky enough that I can stay home with them! I like to stay fit and work on home improvement projects. I also really look forward to my time in the evenings to watch TV with my husband. I am a big "Survivor" and "The Amazing Race" fan. I also love to get together with friends and family to eat and have fun. I received my Bachelor in Science degree from Brigham Young University in 2003. I studied to be a Veterinarian Technician. I worked at a Veterinary clinic until I had my first baby. Someday, when all the kids are in school, I might go back to work. For now, I am enjoying my family!

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony of Jesus Christ and his love for me. I know that scripture study, prayer, and striving to live the commandments bring me to know Him on a personal level. I know that through living righteously, I can have the Holy Ghost as my companion at all times, and that makes my life so much easier to live. I feel that I am guided daily on the big and small decisions I have to make. My knowledge of the gospel makes my trials and hardships easier to handle, as well. I know that Jesus Christ is the son of our Heavenly Father, and he was born here on Earth to teach the true gospel, and then atone for our sins in the Garden of Gethsemane. He died for us, and was then resurrected so that we can all be resurrected, no matter who we are! I love that we are a family centered people. There is no greater foundation than the traditional family. I know the Book of Mormon is true scripture, and that Joseph Smith was a prophet. He communicated directly with our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and angels, to bring the true gospel back to the Earth. I know deep within my heart that my Heavenly Father loves me.

How I live my faith

I have served in my church ward in several different capacities. I have taught gospel classes, organized babysitting for parents who want to attend different events and classes, planned fun and spiritual activities for girls ages 12 and 13, participated in cleaning the church building, sang in the choir, and participated in organizing fun activities for different holidays. I also like visiting teaching, which is a way for us women to visit with one another, get to know each other, and serve one another.
