Hi I'm Michelle Ann White

I am from Arizona, U.S.A! I love needle-work crafts, well-organized books and literature, & learning how to garden. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am the oldest of 10 children, 6 girls and 4 boys. I have 88 first cousins on my Mom's side, but only 15 on my Dad's side. I have a Bachelor degree in Accounting. I love math, which probably comes more from my Dad's side of the family :) I also love to tell stories and visit, which probably comes a little more from my Mom's side of the family. It's a good thing too, my Mother's parents have 300+ decedents and counting :) Learning how to garden is my next big goal, along with genealogical research and dancing. We come to this earth to learn to grow and be happy, and I am very grateful for the opportunities I have had thus far to pursue and find happiness. My Maternal Grandfather always says: "the Lord has been very good to me", the Lord has been good to me as well as my Grandfather!

Why I am a Mormon

I was introduced to the gospel at birth. My Mom and Dad grew up in the church as well. Two of my grandparents were raised in the church and two were not. Because I was raised in the church, my conversion process was long and slow but steady. This makes it really hard to pin-point when I developed a testimony. I think it happened over a long period of time little by little. Now that I am an adult, I would not want to leave the church for anything. The church is a tool to help Christ reach the people through others. I know that Christ lives. I know the prophets like Enos (from the Book of Mormon) knew when he died he would see Christ in the flesh 400 years before Christ's Birth. I know that Mormon (also from the Book of Mormon) knew that when he died he would meet Christ 400 years after Christ's birth. These were not eye-witnesses of Christ, they knew through the manifastation of the Holy Ghost. I know, through the manifastations of the Holy Ghost throughout my life, that Christ Lives. He has established his kingdom on earth to prepare for his second coming when EVERY people, nation, and tongue will see and worship their Savior. I am grateful my personal testimony started growing at such a young age. It is a part of me that cannot be shaken. I have simply had too many witnesses too many times during my most tender years and beyond. Further, I am not about to break or bend any rules or covenants I have made. I know better and have already made up my mind!

How I live my faith

Everyone at work knew I was LDS and that I quit my job to serve a mission for the church. They were very positive about it. Many even gave me their contact information so I could write them! I have a 4-year degree, but I plan to advance my aducation when I come home from the mission. I am really excited to go out and serve! When I get back, I know I will be that much more prepared to raise a family, make a positive impact in my community, and live a happy life.
