Hi I'm Mitch

Today is the best day ever!

About Me

I'm 6'5", I love to geocache, play disc golf, go off-roading in my jeep, find places to hang my hammock, listen to Coldplay, and spend time with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon, because The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints is where I find lasting happiness. You are on a webpage filled with thousands of testimonies of members of this church. Read their testimonies, learn about our beliefs, ask questions, and ponder these things in your heart. When you feel ready, find a quite place, bend on your knees, and ask your loving father in Heaven if what we believe is true. If you ask with a sincere heart, and listen carefully, he will answer you.

How I live my faith

I choose to believe that every day is the best day ever. Why? Because everyday you grow a day older. You become a day smarter, and a day stronger. Everyday you witness an entire new day of miracles, blessings, and charity. Likewise, we experience trials, sickness, and hardships. Through this repeating cycle of 24 hours we call "another day of life," we slowly progress a day more to becoming like our Savior, Jesus Christ. He loves us with an infinite love. He has taken upon him our trials and grief. He wants the best for us. This knowledge changes everything. That is why today, this very moment, is the best one ever. So not only do I have to choose to believe its the best day ever, (everyday), but I have to act on that by consciously looking for opportunities to serve others, nurture my testimony by studying and living the gospel, striving to keep the commandments, and repenting when I make mistakes. Making it the best day ever can be as simple as taking a few minutes each day to quietly reflect and recognize the blessings I have received, and then deciding on how to act.
