Hi I'm Colin Haueter

I was born and raised in Meridian, Idaho. I love to sing and run. I love smiling. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Yup i'm just another poor college student. I'm off track right now and waiting to report to the MTC in 30 days! I work 40+ hours a week for Domino's Pizza to pay for as much of my mission as I can. I like anything that helps me better myself. I read, run, sing and love living life. I am the third of four children in a loving family. Although we don't always get along I feel safest when I'm home and happiest when I'm with my family. My motto in life is to Endure to the end with a Smile. And I find great comfort in President Hinkley's words: everything will be alright in the end, if its not alright then its not the end. While my life is far from perfect I know there must be opposition in all things and that it is from sorrow that we can gain joy.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I believe and love its teachings. Because I have a testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel and its power to change lives for the better. Because I know that we are all children of a loving Heavenly Father who care about us, His children, more than we can comprehend. I'm a Mormon because I have found for myself that these things are true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by keeping my covenants, at and through baptism and its weekly counterpart the sacrament I make promises and keep them to the best of my ability. when I make mistakes or slip up I remember our elder brother Christ who suffered all things, died, and rose again so that I can be spotless and if choose to turn to him. Its not a one time thing, and nope its not always easy.. but I try to live my life in such a way that Heavenly Father, Christ, the Holy Spirit and I can change who I am. At its simplest, I live my faith by doing everything I can and know how to do to become better, to become more like Christ.
