Hi I'm Hannah

I'm an anthropologist, an adventurer, a poet. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I have always had a hard time writing "about me" 's, but here are some things to consider. I grew up in a homemade house in the middle of nowhere. I love to cook and share the food I make. I think a lot, I just graduated from Fort Lewis College with a degree in anthropology. I feel at home outside, and on sunny days I feel guilty the whole time I am inside. I love exploring, learning, traveling, writing, sports, books, humans, music, and fruit.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up Mormon, and I know that for some that discredits me to an extent, but I have taken the time to learn for myself that Jesus Christ is my savior. He is there for me always and I know he wants me to succeed. I am a very indecisive person and it gives me comfort to know that if I stay in contact with my Heavenly father (via prayer) he can help me make decisions that will bring me back to him. I know that he cares about me, knows what I struggle with and what I need. I am thankful for the example of Jesus Christ. He showed us all how to live full and wonderful lives by following him and caring for all his children. We are his hands.

How I live my faith

I am one of only a few Mormon young people in my community. I try to be different from the crowd and always do what's right. Soon I will be a full-time missionary in Dallas, TX.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Read stories about his life, and try to act like he did. As we show love to our fellow men, Christ shows his love to us. Show more Show less
