Hi I'm Tyna Barzee

I am a mother grandmother and a medical assistant and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. I am an ordinary person who works a 40+ hour a week job in a nephrology doctors office. I enjoy, sewing, chocheting, and reading. I live a very busy life and there is never a dull moment in our family.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though my ancestors were some of the original members who crossed the plains as pioneers, I myself had to find my own testimony of the truthfullness of the Book of Mormon and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Though reading the Book of Mormon cover to cover and by following the admonition of Moroni in Moroni 10:3, I received a clear answer to my prayer. I continue to gain in testimony by having priesthood blessings, though prayer, study of the scriptures and hearing the testimonies of others. I feel our Heavenly Fathers love for me many times and I am so grateful for the atonement of our brother Jesus Christ. I am so thankful that I know Jesus Christ lives and that he is our savior and our redeemer. I have such a peace in my life knowing that I am a child of God and that he wants me to come back to live with him someday. He has a plan for me and he has given me instructions on what I need to do to endure to the end. I am very blessed to know that no matter what happens to me, what adversity might come along if I lean on the Lord I can have peace in my life.

How I live my faith

I have held many calling as a member of the church. I have worked with the Relief Society, the women's organization of the church, I have worked with the children's organization called the Primary. I have been on the activities committee to help plan activities that are family oriented. Most of all though I just try everyday to live the commandments the best that I can. I help out people when they need help by providing meals or service of some kind. I try to be an example that emulates Jesus Christ. I often think what would Jesus do in this situation. I am trying everyday to be more like Jesus in all that I do and say. I try always to love unconditionally, and not judge people for where they are in their life. Only love them and try to be a good friend. Our Religion is not just a religion it is our way of life.
