Hi I'm Carmen Sablan

The joy of my world is and will always be in Zion. Called to serve in the Provo, Utah in Spanish. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in an island in the Marianna's, west of the Pacific Ocean, called Saipan. My family and I moved to Seattle, Washington for the children in the family to get better education. I was baptized at the age of 9 and have been active with my family since we've joined the church. I enjoy expressing myself through the hawaiian culture of traditional hula dancing and anything through music. I have 9 siblings, 5 of which are adopted but I love all of them equally and could never ask for a better bunch to have grown up with, we're all close in age and enjoy spending time with eachother. I've grown to love the gospel in tremendous ways and it has helped me to know who I am and what my purpose is in life.

Why I am a Mormon

This gospel has brought true happiness to my life. There couldn't possibly be anything else better on earth because I have prayed and asked if living the ways of this gospel was the right thing to do. It has kept my family together in ways that are too complex to explain and with this knowledge I always know that God loves me as an individual. He knows my weaknesses and strengths; He helps me every single day with my faults and forgives me for not being perfect as I know that I am not. He has given me gifts that I use and exercise to strenthen my faith and learn to love myself and others everyday. It's because I am a Mormon that has helped me know who I truely am through God's eyes and can have happiness that is too far to comprehend to even describe.

How I live my faith

"And now as I said concerning faith - faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true." -Alma 32:21 Of all people, I am not perfect but I continually seek to build my faith and but my full trust on Heavenly Father because I know that he got me through anything and everything. He gave me this life to give me struggles but to hope that tomorrow will be better, to overcome all trials by doing the things I need to be doing in tune with God's will, and also to help people to always have this faith and trust in what Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
