Hi I'm Bryant Wickham

I am from Pocatello, Idaho. I love music, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Bry, and I love music. I especially love playing my violin, in which I have played for over 12 years. I also love listening to all types of music. Some of my favorite artists include Matisyahu, Lupe Fiasco, Boys Like Girls, and other modern day artists. I also love to rock out to the old stuff: from Pink Floyd and Styx to Beethoven and Tchaikovsky. I greatly enjoy playing any and all type of sports. I currently I go to college at Brigham Young University. I am associated in many different on-campus actives there.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because it completes me. The Gospel of Jesus Christ completes the puzzle of life: where did we come from, why are we here, and where are we going. The Gospel of Jesus Christ also shows us the true way to gain happiness in this life. We are taught that when we sin, even though it may bring temporary pleasure, we have pay for our mistakes. This is taught in my favorite scripture from the Book of Mormon which reads, "... Wickedness was never Happiness" (Alma 41:10). I chose to be a member of the LDS Church because in this church we learn that families can be together, and death is not the end of life... but rather just a step to a better life. I know that the teachings of this gospel are true, and I love it.

How I live my faith

I love serving in the church! There are so many opportunities to serve. From church sponsored events like "Helping Hands" to volunteering to clean the church. So many times in my life, members of the youth went to the homes of elderly members just to serve them. We would do anything that needed done. We picked weeds in the garden, took out the trash, cleaned the bathrooms, anything!
