Hi I'm Stephen Vermillion

I'm a Mormon. I'm a retired firefighter who is now serving a couples mission with the love of my life, my wife Peggy.

About Me

I am a retired firefighter from Las Vegas, Nevada, who when I was a young man struggled with the gospel and how I fit in this religion. I went to college on a football scholarship and fell away from the gospel but found out that there was something missing. I looked around and started searching, not realizing that what I was looking for I already had in the gospel. After much soul searching and repentance I returned to the church. It took time and work to find my way back but one of the things that helped me along the way was my wife. She is a marvelous women who loves the Lord. All of us can have the peace and joy the gospel brings through turning our hearts to the Lord. Like this saying says "It may not be easy but it is worth it". I pray that those who may read this will ask themselves who they truly are and how they can find the answers.

Why I am a Mormon

I returned to the LDS church because the things that were said made sense to me once again. I have felt the spirit tell me that the gospel is true and if I would return life would be different. Again it took time but was worth the effort. Life.has been different, not easy, but worth living. I have learned that as I have journeyed through my time on this earth that I am child of God and he truly loves me. Again it hasn't been easy but it diffently has been worth it.

How I live my faith

I am now a Senior missionary with my wife. What a joy this has been to serve and give of ones self totally to the Lord. I am so blessed to have this opportunity. This has solidified my my testimony. No matter where you are at in your life if you will turn yourself over to the Lord and your eyes will be open. Have fun in the journey.
