Hi I'm Halley Pace

I'm a math education major, a dancer, a friend, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a student at Brigham Young University studying math and Spanish education. I have been called to serve a mission in the Arizona Tucson Mission and I will be preaching the gospel in Spanish. I am a diligent worker, a faithful friend, and I love helping others anyway I can. I live my life to the fullest and love to adventure! I can't wait to share this gospel with the people of Arizona!

Why I am a Mormon

My family was converted to the church when I was very young. It was through the examples of other members and their ability to reach out to us that we learned about the gospel and it's power. Now that my entire family has been baptized and sealed together, I have a strong testimony that this is the true church with the full restored gospel. I know that Christ died for our sins because he loved us so much. I know that if we stay true in our faith, we can return to Him again. I also know that everybody makes mistakes, and because of the atonement, we can be forgiven of that and we can still return to our Father in Heaven. The gospel brings me so much joy and I'm grateful for the power it has had in my life.

How I live my faith

Being a student at BYU, you would think that it would be much easier to live a faithful life and it can be. However, it can also be significantly more difficult than it was at home. I think the reason being is because you suddenly become accountable for yourself. I haven't had many struggles with inactivity but I have definitely struggled with my faith. I live my faith by studying my scriptures daily, beginning and ending my day in prayer, and surrounding myself with uplifting people whom I can ask questions to or rely on when I need a little more faith than I have at that point. I attend Sunday meetings, service activities, family home evening, and I'm getting better at doing my visiting teaching. I continually strive to become closer to my Father in Heaven and learn more about Him.
