Hi I'm Leah

I'm a student, a dancing cow mascot, and an athlete. I love to laugh and I love life. I'm a Mormon and love EVERY second of it! :)

About Me

I love life. I'm a student majoring in public health and ready to help save the world one day at a time. I love sports and laughing and pretty much everything wholesome. Being happy is my favorite and I love my friends and family; I have definitely been blessed with them. I love learning foreign languages and I am so excited to be serving a mission for the church in 2013.

Why I am a Mormon

After I read the Book of Mormon, I needed to know for myself whether it was true or not. When I prayed, I felt this overwhelming feeling of peace and comfort and couldn't stop crying tears of joy. When I read the scriptures and listen to talks by leaders in the church, I feel the Spirit tell me that I am doing the right thing by being in this church, praising our Lord Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I try to love everybody. We are all equal in the eyes of God, so why should we put some or even ourselves above others? We all make mistakes and need to support our brothers and sisters at all times. I love walking around and noticing all the little blessings in my life: seeing nature, spending time with my friends and family, reading the scriptures, etc. I try my best to be an example of Christ to all of those who I come in contact with. Share a smile with everyone!

In whom should we have faith?

Leah
We need to have faith in Jesus Christ. As members of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, we are commanded to endure to end. In order to endure to the end, we need to trust that the Lord is doing His part and will do His part in the end. We have to have faith that what we are doing is the right thing. I have found that having faith brings me a strong feeling of comfort that everything really will be okay. The Lord knows what He is doing and I have no doubts. Show more Show less
