Hi I'm Jason

I'm a missionary in the California Los Angeles Mission, called to serve with a Korean emphasis. I love swimming, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah, USA, but when I was 3 years old I moved to Japan. I have lived in South Korea and Japan for most of my life, so growing up was a little bit different for me. Growing up overseas has taught me a lot about embracing people of different backgrounds and beliefs, and I feel that it has shaped me into a better person. I am currently serving as a full-time missionary for the LDS church. I am loving being a missionary and watching people come closer to Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because the teachings of Jesus Christ bring me a happiness and a peace that I have never felt from anything else. Being able to have the gospel in my home, and being able to share it with others is a blessing I will cherish forever. Just knowing that we have a Father in Heaven who always watches over us and is concerned about our individual lives is something that is very comforting to me. I know that my Savior lives and the we have a loving Father in Heaven, and that is a very big part of why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

As I have been serving my mission, I have really come to know my Savior, Jesus Christ on a more personal level. As I've gone through my own individual struggles and have helped others go through theirs, I can now say with a surety that the Atonement of Jesus Christ is real. He is always there when we reach out for Him, and He loves us with an infinite love. That knowledge has definitely affected the way I live, and I always want to live in a manner consistent with His teachings.
