Hi I'm Brian

I grew up in Washington State, married a girl from Utah and 32 years later I am the happy father of 13 children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My greatest love is my family and although it takes a lot of work with 13 children, it is well worth it. We are blessed to have a little hobby farm with a cow, chickens, and a few horses. I love working with the boy scouts and have enjoyed the association with others who also work with the youth.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was baptized when I was 8 years old. However, like everyone, there comes a time when you have to know for yourself that what you have been taught all your life is true or not. I followed the challenge given by Moroni in the Book of Mormon, to study and ponder its messages of Jesus Christ and the gospel and pray to receive and answer. I did receive an answer by the power of the Holy Ghost and know with all my heart that God lives, that Jesus is the promised Messiah and that the priesthood of God has been restored to the earth, and that Christ's church has been re-established on the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith.

How I live my faith

Most of all I try to live the gospel each day by being a loving husband and father. I also have learned that through service to others comes the greatest happiness in life. I have had many opportunities to serve in the community and my local church congregation (ward). I love working with the youth and seeing their growth and excitement for life. I also am involved in the community as a precinct vice-chair and serve on the board of a small bank.
