Hi I'm Heather Ballard

I'm an ASU college graduate. I grew up in Murphys California. I'm the owner of a Home Health Care Company and... I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a small town girl who loves the outdoors. I LOVE hiking, horseback riding and anything to do involving water!!! I graduated with a degree in Political Science. I'm married to a man who understands me and loves me with all his heart :-) I was a mother to a wonderful little beautiful baby boy for the last two years who stole my heart! I'm the owner of a Home Health Care company. I love to laugh, smile and have fun! Oh ya...and I LOVE to cook and bake (it's what I call "me" time).

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS church and I always knew that the church was true...but it wasn't until I was 19 when I really gained a true testimony. I knew that if I had a true testimony in Joseph Smith then the church must be true. So... I got down on my knees and praised every day and night to truly know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. About a week later the missionaries came over to my friends house where I was staying and asked to talk to me (which was strange b/c they never came over to talk to me). They asked specifically for me and asked if they could share a message with me. Sure enough... they said they were inspired to share a missionary message with me about Joseph Smith. Those missionaries had never even met me before and know that they were prompted to be an answer to my prayers. I have never questioned the church since that day. I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy. It gives me truth that makes sense to me. Being a Mormon makes me WANT to help others, it makes me want to be happy :-) Being a Mormon makes me want to love ALL of Gods children. I'm a Mormon because I know that this church is true :-)

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday! I live my faith by being a daughter of my Heavenly Father and standing up for others just like Christ did. I'm currently the Relief Society President of my ward and I see the love that these wonderful members share to those around them and it makes me want to be a better person. I live my faith by serving those in my ward as well as everyone around me whether they're members or not... because EVERY person on this earth is a child of God. I have a respect for morals in a family and I know that being clean and pure and righteous will bring me and my family true happiness.
