Hi I'm Brandon Christensen

I am a singer and a listener; I enjoy family photos; I love the Lord Jesus Christ and I am a Mormon.

About Me

When I was a high school student I was involved with every one of our performing arts programs. Yes sir; choir, band, theater, even ballroom dance! I am most grateful for the talents that my Father in Heaven has given me and hope they'll grow. I hope to work in organizational behavior. I love to help others fulfill their potential. I am doing that now as a full time missionary in Portland Oregon

Why I am a Mormon

The answer is described by my initial encounter with the Savior. One night, in my bed, I meditated on Christ and my personal guilt. My every word of anger, every act of spite, and every thought of hate; Christ put that on himself. In my mind, I knew I was not worth the immense pain he went through. I was ashamed at the fact that my sins did this to Christ, the one who loves me most. The worst part was the feeling of helplessness. There's nothing to be done to stop an act that occured 2000 years ago; Yet, for me, His sacrifice carried a heavy sense of urgency, as though He was suffering right there, in front of my eyes. I knew there was nothing I could do. Christ was perfect, He was God on earth, and yet He willingly suffered and descended below all things. What could I, a sinner, ever do to help? Then there came the "why". Why was He doing this? I never asked him to, why? Confused and frustrated, I begged The Lord to show me why he suffered, both body and spirit. He did show me. My thoughts were directed towards my family, my friends, and even individuals I had only met that day; I became filled with an undescribable love for them. Love stronger and greater than what I, an imperfect being, could feel without God's help. I could hear Christ in my heart tell me, "that is why." Christ loves us, and that is why He has restored His Gospel again to the earth. He speaks directly to prophets today and has given the Book of Mormon to be the unshakable evidence of that fact.

How I live my faith

I strive daily to help those around me realize the love the Savior has for them. I could not have felt what I felt in my conversion and not want to strengthen my brothers and sisters with Christ's love. I glory in Charity and the joy that comes with it. I have hope in God, I know that His plan for us is the best thing for us.I know that I would be forever miserable without Christ. His love and Charity is the very core of my being, and I want to fill my life with it as I give it to others. As a witness of God, I bear testimony that Jesus Christ is the source of grace, light and strength through His Atonement. As we recieve the full measure of His grace upon ourselves and strive to use it everyday, we will be happy and joyful in a condition words cannot describe.
