Hi I'm Kelly White

I love art, photography, red swedish fish, laughing til I cry, getting lost in a good book, music of all sorts, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was fortunate enough to grow up in a small town enjoying the simple things in life. Running through the fresh cut grass in bare feet, climbing trees and eating juicy, sour, green apples, and staying out on cool summer nights to look up at the millions of bright twinkling stars in the heavens above and wonder, 'How many stars are there in that big black sky?' All my life I've loved art and there is a happiness I feel when I draw or create something. I found a love for photography in high school and have tried to develop my talents to the fullest (though i still have much to learn!) I also love working with children! Sometimes it is evident that little children are much more intuitive than many adults give them credit for. As I study to become an elementary school teacher, I hope that I can encourage my students to find joy in learning, and instill in them a desire to always seek knowledge, ask questions, and learn more!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know without a doubt that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the same church that Jesus Christ established on the earth during his ministry. That same church that was rejected in ancient times, has now been restored to the earth through the latter-day prophet Joseph Smith. I know that Joseph Smith saw God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. I know that the church of Jesus Christ is once again upon the earth, and that if we live by it's teachings we will once again return to live with our loving Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I am serving as a full time missionary in The Great California Long Beach Mission! It was the best decision I ever made to serve a mission for the Lord, to be an instrument in His hands, and witness the many everyday miracles He blesses His children with. I feel like having a happy, cheerful, optimistic attitude is one way I can live my faith and be an example to others.
