Hi I'm Evan

I'm sell vacuums, I'm self employed, I sing Barbershop, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a family oriented guy. I love my wife and kids - there was a time when I thought I would never have kids. We struggled with infertility for 13 years. Then life threw us 4 kids in 5 years, two were adopted two came the traditional route. What a blessing. I work hard to provide for my family and do my best to make life better for them and those around us. I have worked for myself for the past decade and recently finished an MBA to provide more security for my family's future.

Why I am a Mormon

My family has always been part of the Mormon faith. I have great grand parents that were part of the hand cart companies that came across the plains. But that is only how I became associated with the church. As everyone does I had to come to my own conclusions about the validity of the story of Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon. Through very personal experiences I have come to know that Jesus Christ is my personal savior. He knows who I am. He knows my struggles. He stands with open arms to welcome me back. I have felt the love of his redeeming grace. His forgiveness is real and brings relief. The prophet Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon, and all that the church teaches reinforces what I have come to know by myself. Jesus Christ lives and loves each and every one of his children.

How I live my faith

I try to live my life so that others will know that I am a follower of Jesus Christ. I don't always succeed at that, but I sure try. I have spent much of my adult life working with the youth of the church and see such promise in their future. I try to instill the motto of my dad. Be good, work hard, and have fun.
